When she was able to make it through that time in her life, she started a holiday tradition of cooking for the homeless and serving them in the streets where they live. She wanted them to feel the goodness that food can make one feel when being nourished. She, along with her kids, have embraced this tradition every year for the past decade.
As a Chef, she wants to extend this service to the community, beyond her family tradition, to become part of her company culture. And with her meal prep services she would like to soon offer a BOGO of Buy one, Give one meal – Buy a meal from her and give the same meal to a less fortunate individual. After a lot of struggle and heartbreak from a recent divorce, she decided she would no longer do anything she didn’t enjoy. Jennifer enrolled in Culinard Institute, a French-based culinary school in Richmond, Virginia, where she lived at the time. She was blessed with meeting some amazing chefs who could literally cook anything. She learned a great deal from them and the chefs that she has worked with in restaurants since. After graduating from Culinary School, she moved to Florida to be closer to family and go into business for herself to hopefully help others. With her meal prep services she has helped her clients achieve whatever food goals they set for themselves, whether it’s to lose weight, gain mass, or just eat healthier.
